When one of my residents requested an alternative to the dining room chairs that we have to help raise him up to the table, I found Kaboost online, and we gave it a try. I bought this product, not for a child, but from personal use. I needed a little more height in the chair that is being used behind the puppet stage and this worked perfectly. It states that it will work for children and adults and it was right.

My husband has ALS, and it’s difficult for him to rise from a chair without a lift. He gets nutrition through a g-tube and prefers to sit in the dining room chair. As he loses muscle, it’s hard for him to lift himself out of his chair to grab onto his walker. The Kaboost makes it possible for him to stand without needing assistance. This product is great. It’s nice to be able to sit in my chair and be able to get up without hurting my legs. It travels with me. I can use it for church, when I visit others.

It is a well engineered product that is easy to use and does exactly what we needed. My mother-in-law is incapable of getting up from a normal chair height, so this booster allows her to be more self sufficient.

Just an FYI to double check your chair's diagonal leg inches before ordering. This is very well designed and is more stable then the chair alone. Bought for an chair with arms for my husband's recovery from hip replacement surgery, unfortunately the diagonal measurement was 1" too long so did not fit (max 30".) Ended up using on a kitchen chair without arms in the bedroom to help him with dressing.

Needed counter-height chairs for my raised kitchen table to assist my tall 81 year old husband. Paying for KABOOST in lieu of $ 800 for four chairs with the exact height I need is much more cost effective. I do need to order felt tip floor protectors so they move more easily on tile floors

Dining room chairs were too low for the table. I had a terrible time getting up and down. I tried to add some small levelers to the chair legs and it was not enough. This product solved the problem. It may be a little bit too high, but it was doable. I have knee problems and neuropathy.

Well, I had this situation with my very independent 94 year old mother:She can no longer get out of the dining room chair independently. It is not heavy, is easy to set up and this takes only moments. Honestly, it WORKS AMAZING!!! Not only is it sturdy but it is easy to move on carpeting as well. My Mother is able to move the chair on her own! There are two different heights. Just flip it over and you have the opposite height available. The lower height is high enough for her to easily stand up and still sit comfortably under the dining room table. Our grandchild is going to be so happy to sit in a “ Big Boy Chair” when he comes over now! Win Win:) Note; The dining room chairs are oversized and I feared this would not fit because of the distance between legs and size of the actual decorative wooden legs but it fit perfectly.

Outstanding solution to boost chair to breakfast bar level.

I am six foot 230 lbs. I bought this riser in order to do sit to stands. I need to build my leg strength up so that I can have an operation. This chair raises me up so that I can get up to a standing position without using my hands and arms. It works, out very well for me. the chair is stable, does not move and I use it on a ceramic tile floor. It also is a great chair for my young Great grandchildren to sit at the table to play games or eat.

This product is very helpful for the elderly or those with limited mobility. It is much easier for adults in those categories to sit and rise from an elevated chair. I only learned of the product from a patients’ support group where another user recommended it.

These boosters were perfect to solve and issue we had with our patio chairs. We have a deck overlooking the lake at our condo. Our view was obstructed by the patio railing. These boosters allowed us to lift our chairs just enough to have a unobstructed view of the lake.

After reading the desciption and weight limit for this product, I was thrilled to find that this is perfect not just for toddlers but for my elderly mother. First of all, I am a grown adult. The chair I got with my apartment was way too short for the table for some reason. I was originally going to get a booster seat, but those are weird! Found this while searching, and I would highly recommend. It makes the entire chair taller, so the dimensions of arm rest aren’t thrown off with a booster seat!!

Bought for 83 year old to see if could help her stand up from chairs. Has weak legs, arms, and could not stand up on her own. At wits end trying to find anything that might help without spending hundreds on a hip chair. Wasn't sure if this booster would do the job of raising chairs high enough for her to stand up without assistance. Bought one, and it DOES work! Been using several months. She now safely stands from chairs without assistance. Works so well, bought two more - one for another family member's house, and another mobile one to take with us when needed. This is an important item for mom now and makes her mobility so much better, keeps her safer, and helps her get back to an easier daily life. For comfort when sitting for long periods, we do put a short foot stool under her feet so they don't dangle in mid air - which can get uncomfortable after awhile - but a very small addition to making it work to perfection for her - someone else may not need the stool. We also have only used on wood floors, and mom is able to slide the chair around pretty well to get in and out. Thank you for making this awesome product!

This product is impressive!! I wanted to convert my standard dining chair to fit my bar countertop and this product got the job done! The taller setting was the perfect height that I needed. It feels extremely sturdy (for reference, the chair is on carpeted floors). Highly recommend, I just ordered a 2nd.

I ordered this because I am a short adult. Now I am a little too high but prefer that to being too low. I know maybe at this point the company can't be all things to all people but here is my "wish" list: more choices of heights and maybe a more attractive (higher end?) look (wood perhaps?). I would be willing to pay more to get both those options as it works quite well. Thanks!

This booster product was placed under a wooden dining chair to be used by an adult in place of several foam cushions so that this adult could more easily stand up without assistance. It works great in this capacity! It is unobtrusive compared to the foam cushions and was simple to put on the chair. The user is delighted with this product!

This works so well, and really helps my little grandson feel like a big boy sitting in a chair rather than a traditional booster, but I want to suggest two improvements. #1: I wish the feet weren't rubber. While I get it that it helps the chair stay in place, but it's also impossible to push the chair in/out with a toddler in it. You have to lift the whole chair up, kid and all and it's a back killer. #2: I wish it came with a back pillow/support. A child has to sit forward on the seat for their legs to meet the edge to be able to bend and for their body to be up to the table...this leaves no support for them to relax and lean back in the chair comfortably. Other than those two things, this works as advertised and is so innovative. While I use this for a child, I can totally see this being a fantastic solution for a short statured adult.

I decided to finally build a kitchen island and remove an old kitchen table. Now what do I do, I have two perfectly good chairs and really do not what to buy high chairs. After a lot of research in figuring out what would work to raise my irregular chair legs to 3” higher. I was overwhelmed with the price but decided to get only one to try it out.
