An A+++ product!
Great product for toddlers and for adults that have difficulty rising from a chair.
We purchased for my 12 year old (100 lbs) who has muscular dystrophy. We added Kaboost to the kitchen chair she sits in and it’s safe, secure, and lifts her chair enough that it’s not a struggle for her to get up from sitting and now she doesn’t have to plop down either. Highly recommend!
Chair for my dining room table were too short to sit at the island. With Kaboost I got the extra height I needed and it seems like the chairs are more stable. Can't find a similar product at Home Depot or Menards. I would recommend.
Was fast delivery. Packaged well
Received quickly. Product as advertised. Easy to install.
This thing is rock solid
I am in physical therapy for a fractured kneecap. They needed me to hang my legs in a bent position with some pressure from an ankle weight. The extra height on our dining room chair made it possible to do this exercise to teach my knee to bend again. My daughter and son-in-law put it on my dining room chair it’s seem to need two people to install it. Seems very secure and doesn’t slip on the floor because of the rubber bottoms
My home office is the kitchen counter. I like it there because I can see my backyard and I have lots of room to spread out all my marketing activities. But. My barstools are just too short for my 5' 3" self. My shoulders would hunch while typing on my laptop and I'd end up sitting on the couch before the day is over. I tried sitting on chair cushions and pillows and nothing was comfortable for long periods. Off I went to find a solution. Kaboost gave me the idea to raise the legs and not the seat. Eureka! It works great! I use the short side and it lifts me the perfect amount so my shoulders are relaxed. I still have several inches between the counter and my legs. Bonus: When my grandkids come it will help them reach the counter better for snacks and play-doh fun! I just may buy another one so I have it on 2 chairs. What I wish I'd known: 1) It took 2 people to put it together. No big deal, but my husband held the chair while I sat on the floor and spread the arms out so it would fit. 2) It doesn't easily slide on my tile floor -- which is probably a good thing, but I have to carefully position it and then get on the chair. I'm afraid if I scoot it while sitting in it, the Kaboost will pop off (it might not). That's it. I'm so excited, I wrote one of my first ever reviews in a very long time.
I got this product as I was having a total hip replacement and needed a raised chair as not to break after surgery restrictions. It worked perfectly!!!
My granddaughter loves to sit at the table, but she's too small to be level to eat there when sitting on a regular chair. Since big yellow pages books are hard to find now, KABOOST does the job making the chair tall for her. It's a welcome find as said granddaughter passionately dislikes sitting in children's booster seats.
I don't have any children. But the Kaboost has helped me create good ergonomics. I have carpel tunnel syndrome and tendinitis, so I need ideal ergonomics wherever I work. Twice a week, I visit a remote location where my work station has a chair that's too low for the table where I use my laptop PC. With the Kaboost, the chair has now been raised to a proper height relative to the table. Problem solved! My wrists and elbows now feel much better when I have to work at this location. Thanks!
The Kaboost portable chair booster is one of the most well designed, highly functional, easy to use products I have purchased in several years. It really increases the chair height in a stable, simple to install manner. It is hard to imagine a chair with 4 legs that would not fit. I am surprised that they don't charge a premium for this extremely well designed, well made apparatus.
This product is absolutely fantastic! I'm 6'5"" and it is very painful for me to stand up from any low or regular height chair due to both knees being shot and my legs partially paralyzed . The KABOOST raises my chair height so I'm able to stand up with almost no pain. WONDERFUL!!!
I bought this for my mother for a chair turned in to a barstool at kitchen counter doesn't slip or move easy to set up and take off.
It lifted my Godmother's chair so did she is it a reasonable height for the table. This is important because her spine has shrunk and she said when she sits at the table and anything else she feels like a little kid again. She says it's not a Happy Feeling. This gives her a happy feeling
Works great! Used it to raise a chair for elderly mother to make it easier to get up. Needed to add sliders to chair leg bottoms so would slide. Does the job.
I bought these for kitchen bar stools that didn't sit high enough and they are perfect. I'm so glad I found the kaboost chair lifters.
Works as described with a handicapped person that needed a higher seat. Did have to add some skids on leg bottoms so chair would slide for user
Advertised for kids but worked perfectly to raise my mom’s dining room chair while she was recovering from surgery
I have lost height with age due to discs being bad and was not tall to begin with so chairs were often too low at the tables. Forget the kids, some us who want to work at tables or counters love the extra height I did sit mine on glide pads so I can easy move my chair in and out. Works great.
Just want to let you know we love the Kaboost Booster seat. We are not using it for a toddler. We are using it to raise chairs at a quilting retreat. The Kaboost Booster seat raises our chair which make sewing much better for our backs.
we used this for my wife sho has a hard time getting up from chairs. Very helpful for seniors
They lock in tight
I purchased a pair of Kaboost because the bar stools I have did not sit high enough. Because they matched the bar I purchased, I did not want to get different stools. Kaboost to the rescue. Bar stools don't have thick legs, so I was worried they wouldn't fit snuggly in the Kaboost. As advertised, the legs fit perfectly, raised the stools to the desired height and works fine for adults. I could not be happier with my purchase!
Charcoal - KABOOST Chair Booster - Goes Under the Chair
I was looking for a chair riser for an 83 year old. This Kaboost caught my attention as I thought I would have to go with four separate pieces (was unsure of how that would work) but this was a one piece solution and looked much more stable. I received it yesterday and it was a snap to install. No tools needed. My husband tried it out and found that it was much easier to get out of his chair with the Kaboost underneath it than with the multiple cushions he was currently stacking on the seat of the chair. The lower rise (there are two height adjustments available in the same product) allows him to get his legs underneath the table. So this height was perfect for him. He usually lifts the chair when he pulls it forward so using it on the carpet we currently have is not a problem. But it would be more difficult for a senior who doesn't have the strength to lift the chair forward as it does not slide well on carpet. It moves best on a hard surface. We are going to replace the carpet with laminate so this will not be a problem. I slid it over to the tile floor and the chair is easy to move on a hard surface and it still retains it's stability and does not slide backwards when the person stands up. This is due to a silicone patch on the bottom of the extension. I am extremely pleased with this product. The O/T person we have wanted to hear from me, as she was very interested when I showed her the picture and wanted to know how well the Kaboost functioned. One of the hard aspects of being a caregiver is that you have to hunt for solutions to the aging process and help needs of the senior. Lot's of standard equipment is readily identifiable but not all. I found the Kaboost for $39 after I spent a few hours looking for counter height chairs (with arms) at around $300. You really have to look around to find what you need. I'm glad I found the Kaboost it worked better than a new chair as I would have then had trouble with the table. For anyone out there, this works great. M...
I have a high table and didn't want to replace my existing chairs, Kaboost did the trick for me; they are super sturdy and very easy to install! Absolutely love it and highly recommend it!
I love this product..
My father had hip surgeries and this elevates the patio chair for his better comfort and ease. It is stable and steady.
My Dad had a stroke and has difficulty getting up and has difficulty getting up and down and needs height to make it easier. This has been a lifesaver in helping him. We use it on his chair at the dining table. He loves it and so do I. He is 74 years old. I would suggest this for anyone with difficulty in getting up and down. It is also very convenient to take off and carry with you.
There is a whole other group of people who could benefit from Kaboost--the elderly and disabled. My husband is 82 and weakened from polio. The Kaboost has greatly helped him get up from sitting in a regular arm chair. Thank you for making a product that is strong and sturdy.
Am 82 years old and needed help getting out of chairs. Your product does just that both with household as well as patio chairs
This was purchased to help an adult who has trouble getting up out of the low chairs. It has raised the chair so that it is easier and safer for her to stand. Because of the durability and strength of the Kaboost it is prefect and meets the need.
I am old and have trouble getting out of low chairs. Your product helps me to get out of my chair without a problem. Thank you.
I have a counter height table and stools (25") seat and a bar height bar with two stools (30") seat and a very high kitchen counter which I needed two (35") seat stools for, but the 35" seat height stools were quite pricey! So these Kaboost boosters work out well to raise the bar height stool to the 35" seat height I need to sit comfortably at the high kitchen counter. Pretty easy to put them on and off. And of course I use them for the counter height table to boost my grandson up instead of a cushion which never stays in place.
My wife has limited mobility due to Muscular Dystrophy. This work out great in that is is stable and get her high enough where sitting is not an issue.
The product is perfect. I use it because I am short and the chair is now the exact height that I need.
More folks need to know these exist! Ordering more! I have a disabled family member that all sitting areas must reach a certain height including port-a-johns, any chair, etc. THIS ITEM is fantastic and does the job! New Lease on Life - Thank you!
I’m a short old lady that can finally sit at the table thanks to this device. No more fighting with pads that slip.
Great product. I like that there are two height choices. I actually got this for my mom so she doesn't have to sit on a pile of pillows. She has osteoporosis and has lost a few inches. The only issue I have are the rubber feet. I have to put something slick on the bottom so it will slide on the carpet.
It fit a rather large front porch chair. It's not just for children's highchairs.
My mother is 96 and having difficulty getting up from a seated position at the dining table due to pain in her arms and shoulders. Our only option seemed to be leaving her to eat in her recliner. But now, after receiving the Kaboost, her dining chair is safe, secure and at a level that allows her the ability to stand without pulling herself up. I’m so happy with this product and my mother is ecstatic she can keep her dignity and independence!
Worked as advertised. Really helped when we moved our bar stools to a new apartment where the counter was higher than our old apartment. Enabled us to keep bar stools we really liked.
Great product. Can take with to restaurants or friends homes
Very sturdy. I got it for my mother in law because her chair was too low to get out of by herself... works good
Works great, husband has muscle disease and has trouble getting up from low chairs. This really helps.
Great product, works as advertised.
I bought this for my 93-year-old grandma who was struggling to get up from her dining room table, where she spends a lot of her time. She was also falling back into her chair to sit down. As an RN, I have seen sacral and coccyx fractures in elderly women who sit this way. I saw this while making the registry for my baby shower. I was visiting my grandma and she mentioned she wanted to get a chair with longer legs. This immediately popped back into my brain and I bought it right away. Grandma loves it and reports having far less knee pain, as she can rise much easier from the chair. I put it onto her existing chair myself, even with my 35-week pregnant belly in the way. Very pleased this has worked for her. I know she's happy about it too!
Even tho we are elderly we enjoy our booster chairs. We no longer sit in a hole at the dining table. Excellent product for elderly people too!
Even tho we are elderly we enjoy our booster chairs. We no longer sit in a hole at the dining table. Excellent product for elderly people too
Great chair booster! Well built and easy to use
We don't have a child, this was for me. I have a weakness in my lower legs, it makes it easier for me to get out of a chair.
I bought this because my mother who is 80 needed a chair with height to get up and out of easily. This worked perfectly and its secure.!
My companion has developed a muscular disorder that prevents him from using normal height chairs. We've tried a variety of options to raise his chair, but the Kaboost is the best option so far!
Our two year old loves the ability to reach his bowls and plates, he can actually see his food thanks to the kaboost, the chair is secured even with legs that arent straight.
Use this to he l me get out of dining room chair. Adds the needed height to make it easier to get out of the chair. I recommend this to anyone who needs help getting out of a chair.
Best booter product on market Ive found by far! Should be marketed to the elderly in every search possible, not just for kids. I searched and searched until I found a great product to raise the chair my elderly mother in law needed to make it easier for her to get up. If I could give this 10 stars I would, no joke, this product was a life saver for 80 year old mother in law. Takes only a couple minutes to put on or take off chair. Im now ordering more for her to have on chairs by sewing machine and ironing board, she loves it so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the maker of this product.
I have had some health issues that have prevented me for sitting at the dining room table because I don't always have the strength in my legs and/or arms to push myself up from the table. I spent a ton of time online looking for something that would work for an adult. FINALLY, I came across KABOOST on the internet and thought.....'I have nothing to lose because it holds up to 300 lbs."
I purchased it and it works like a charm and although I don't need it all of the time, it is there when I need to the extra height to get out of the dining chair!!! You might want to adjust your advertising so that it shows up for adults as well!!! Thanks for a great tool!
Believe it or not we are using these Kaboost boosters in our group fitness room in our gym. We have 2 extra tall members who needed chairs for their workout. Kaboost provided the perfect height with a very stable bottom. We love them so much we bought two. Thanks again!
I selected this chair, not for a child but for myself. Those of us that have Myositis, it is difficult to get up out of a chair. Having KABOOST, has made it so much easier to be sitting in a comfortable chair and being able to get myself up and out of it independently. I LOVE it!!!
I did not order the Kaboost for a child. I am a physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and wanted to see how I can use it with patients who have difficulty getting to standing from a chair and could use the Kaboost to raise their chair and make getting up easier and safer. I had some difficulty setting it up, but once I figured it out, I found it to have a solid foundation and it was very effective. I have it in my office to show patients. They can take it with them to use when not in their home. I recommend that the Kaboost be marketed for those with physical disabilities that have difficulty getting up from low surfaces. It may need a name change that better describes it use in adults.
I bought this for my 82 year old mother who has really bad knees and couldn't get up from a regular height chair. This elevated the chair in a very safe and sturdy manner, allowing her to get off the chair without much pain. With the Kaboost on, it is very difficult to move the chair once a person is sitting on it. Therefore, I put some felt pads under it and that works great. I have already recommended this product for children and adults.
I have returned to the site to purchase a second Kaboost for my second daughter who is now ready to transition out of her traditional booster "with straps." I could not be more grateful for this invention! My daycare provider recommended my first purchase and here I am purchasing a second after a full year of satisfaction from my first purchase. I highly recommend this product for any child who has outgrown the traditional "baby-like" booster and wants a discrete lift to join mom and dad at the table.
While my great grandson being 4 years old uses a kaboost, the one I purchased is for me. I have bad knees and i have a difficult time getting out of the chair. This purchase has made it much easier for me to get up without having to push myself out of the chair. After using it for a week, I thoroughly enjoy it. Thanks.
Husband needed something to help elevate his dining room chair; the set we have is too low for him to be comfortable. Thanks to Kaboost, my husband can sit at the table comfortably now.
I needed elevated chair post hip replacement surgery. Although package says for ages 2 to 6, I used it at age 87
Received item quickly and my friend put it on my chair I use at the kitchen table. I can now get up from the table without assistance. I would recommend this item to anyone that has trouble getting up from a standard chair. I am really glad I saw this on my tablet. Love love love it. Thanks from a 70 yr old.
I got it for our 2 year old granddaughter. Now every time it's time to sit down for meals she comes running to the table and crawls up on the "big" chair. She straightens herself around and smiles and says "Now I can see what's on the table, too!"
I bought this for when my grandchildren come over but when I was hosting Easter dinner, my 85 year old Uncle sat in that chair & LOVED it. He wanted to if them! The ease of getting up & down was wonderful. He is so happy with the purchase. Excellent product for young & old.
i purchased the KABOOST at the recommendation of a instagram quilter who stated "This is the best invention for when I go to a sewing retreat where the chairs aren't adjustable and I need more height to reach my sewing machine properly". I knew exactly what she was talking about. We often hold retreats in community centers and hotels and those chairs aren't ergonomically suited for a quilter sitting at a sewing machine for hours at a time. I often stacked chairs on top of each other or used a pillow, which every time I got up, would fall off. When I saw the KABOOST, i had an aha moment. I have to get one. Easy to put on, easy to take off. I am using it at home and when I go quilting, I will be taking it with me. Thank you KABOOST for giving me that lift I needed!
